The first WSU bout saw the then defending WSU Spirit Champion Sassy Stephie taking on Rain (formerly Payton Banks of TNA), and that match saw Rain capture what is arguable her most notable singles championship of her career so far. However Rain made an unwise decision when she accepted a challenge soon after her win from Jessica Havok, and with the title on the line again we had our second title change to ensure that the gold stayed within the ranks of the Midwest Militia, but around a new waist as Havok became the new champion.
Also on the show was a preview of the highly anticipated WSU WarGames match as four of the six women involved in that match faced off in a tag team contest here, with Team WSU of former rivals Alicia and Brittney Savage defeating the Midwest Militia comprised of the new Spirit Champion Jessica Havok and Allysin Kay.
WSU have promised video comments from this event, but it didn't take long before Jessica Havok took to her Twitter account to give the world a piece of her find in regards to her big win. (The following quotes have been edited to remove NSFW language).
It certainly adds a new dynamic to the upcoming WarGames match - The "leader" of the Midwest Militia Havok now holds the championship one of her partners - Stephie - lost to another wrestler. Will Stephie fall into rank and not demand a rematch, or will she face off against her team mate and risk disrupting the still newly formed trio? Then again, Stephie might not have any rights to any rematch since the woman she lost the title to in the first place is now no longer champion. So will Rain look to get her shot at the gold, or will she focus instead on her upcoming tag team championship shot as she reforms the International Home Wrecking Crew with Jetta?
